The National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) on February 23, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Physical withdrawal of Goods post Exchange Deliverable Date (EDD).
The following has been stated namely: -
• Goods must be physically withdrawn (final load-out) on or before the Exchange Deliverable Date (EDD), goods beyond EDD are no longer deliverable on the Exchange platform.
• The three-month period is only for Warehouse Service Providers (WSPs) to ensure compliance and does not grant additional storage time to participants beyond the EDD.
• If warehouse space is needed for fresh deposits and is occupied by EDD-expired goods, holders must remove such goods immediately, failing which NCCL may impose additional occupancy charges or take other appropriate action.
