Commercial ComplianceThe Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on February 24, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).

The amendment of the following IS have been established on February 18, 2026, namely: -

• IS 12375 (Part 2) : 2018 ISO 7206-2 : 2011 Implants for Surgery — Partial and Total Hip Joint Prostheses Part 2 Articulating Surfaces Made of Metallic, Ceramic and Plastics Materials (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 February 2026

• IS 12375 (Part 13) : 2024 Implants for Surgery — Partial and Total Hip Joint Prostheses Part 13 Determination of Resistance to Torque of Head Fixation of Stemmed Femoral Components (ISO 7206-13 : 2016, MOD) - Amendment No. 1 February 2026

• IS 15077 (Part 1) : 2019 IEC 62007-1 : 2015 Semiconductor Optoelectronic Devices for Fibre Optic System Applications Part 1 Specification Template for Essential Ratings and Characteristics (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 February 2026

• IS/IEC 60127-4 : 2005 Miniature Fuses Part 4 Universal Modular Fuse-Links (UMF) — Through-Hole and Surface Mount Types - Amendment No. 1 February 2026

• IS/IEC TS 63134 : 2020 Active Assisted Living (AAL) Use Cases - Amendment No. 1 February 2026

The aforesaid IS shall be in force without the amendment till August 17, 2026.
