Labour ComplianceThe Government of Goa on February 25, 2026, issued the notification declaring Holiday on March 11, 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• This is due to the General Elections to the Corporation of the City of Panaji.

• This is applicable to every person employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking or any other establishment and entitled to vote at the aforesaid General Elections, throughout the State of Goa.

• The aforesaid holiday shall be a "paid holiday"
