The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on February 25, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS have been established on February 19, 2026, namely: -
• IS 9471 (Part 5) - 1980 Specification for Modular Lower Limb Orthotic Components Part 5 Joint Unit, Knee - Amendment No. 4 February 2026
• IS 10645 (Part 7) : 2023 ISO 22514-7 : 2021 Statistical Methods in Process Management — Capability and Performance Part 7 Capability of Measurement Processes - Amendment No. 1 February 2026
• IS/ISO 11843-2 : 2000 Capability of Detection Part 2 Methodology in the Linear Calibration Case - Amendment No. 1 February 2026
• IS 12326 : 2005 ISO/IEC 2022 : 1994 Information Technology — Character Code Structure and Extension Techniques (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 February 2026
The IS shall be in force without the amendment till August 18, 2026.
