The Department of State Taxes & Excise, Government of Himachal Pradesh, on February 27, 2026, notified regarding the proposed amendment to Schedule-II of the Himachal Pradesh Toll Act, 1975.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The amendment seeks to substitute the existing Entry No. 11 in Schedule-II. As per the proposal, Entry No. 11 will now cover all private light motor vehicles registered under the Motor Vehicles Act in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
• All objections and suggestions received in writing to the Commissioner of State Taxes and Excise, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-9, within March 29, 2026.
