Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 04, 2026, issued Re-triggering of 2.5% E-ASM on Coriander and Turmeric Contracts Till March 25, 2026.

With reference to earlier surveillance circulars issued by NCDEX, the Exchange has re-triggered an Event Based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% based on the prescribed High–Low price variation formula [(High–Low)/Low × 100]. This measure has been invoked due to significant price movement and will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched contracts in Coriander and Turmeric until March 25, 2026.

As per the trigger data, Coriander breached the 10-day movement threshold (15%) on March 4, 2026, while Turmeric breached both the 5-day (10%) and 10-day (15%) thresholds on March 4, 2026. No E-ASM has been triggered for Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, or Jeera (including Jeera Mini). All other applicable margins will continue to be levied as per existing norms.
