The Department of State Taxes & Excise, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh on February 27, 2026, notified regarding the Leasing of Toll Collection Rights for FY 2026–27.
The Government has notified April 01, 2026, as the effective date from which the right to collect tolls on mechanical vehicles passing over road infrastructure will be leased out for the financial year 2026–27 (April 01, 2026, to March 31, 2027).
The toll collection rights will be granted through an E-Auction process in the interest of revenue. The terms and conditions of the lease will be determined separately by the Commissioner of State Taxes & Excise, Himachal Pradesh, with the approval of the State Government.
