The Government of Goa on February 27, 2026, notified regarding the Paid Holiday on March 11, 2026, for the Panaji Municipal Corporation Election Polling Day.
The Government has declared Wednesday, March 11, 2026, as a paid holiday on account of the Polling Day for the General Election to the Corporation of the City of Panaji. The holiday will apply to all establishments in the State of Goa, including commercial and industrial undertakings, government departments, and other establishments.
It also extends to daily wage and casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial unit, or government establishment, provided they are entitled to vote in the said election.
