Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on March 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding Non-Charging of AMC in Demat Accounts Consisting of Illiquid, Suspended, or Delisted Securities.

The following has been stated: -

•Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) reminded DPs about the instruction in the Communique dated September 30, 2025, regarding non-charging of AMC for demat accounts holding only illiquid, suspended, or delisted securities.

•A DP-wise list of BO IDs in “To be Closed” status with such securities has been shared for review.

•The list is available in the DP billing folder with the file name format “BLNG<<DP ID>>NO_AMC_ISINS_06032026.tar”.

•DPs must not charge AMC to these BO accounts and ensure compliance as per the earlier communique.
