Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe PIB Headquarters on March 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding Policy Reforms Strengthening Ease of Doing Business in India.

The following has been stated: -

•India’s business environment has significantly improved due to policy and regulatory reforms, with active company registrations increasing by about 27% from 1.55 lakh (2020–21) to 1.98 lakh (2025–26). 

•Government initiatives such as Start-Up India, credit guarantee schemes, digital credit assessment models, and trade facilitation measures are creating a transparent and investor-friendly ecosystem. 

•Regulatory reforms, including GST simplification, labour codes, the Jan Vishwas Act, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, have reduced compliance burden and improved governance. 

•These measures collectively strengthen investor confidence and position India as a competitive global business and investment destination.
