The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on March 06, 2026, notified regarding the Initiation of sunset review investigation of anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of "Natural Mica Pearl Industrial Pigments excluding Cosmetic Grade" originating in or exported from China PR.
The following has been stated:
• It has initiated a sunset review investigation regarding the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of Natural Mica Pearl Industrial Pigments (excluding cosmetic grade) originating in or exported from China PR.
• The purpose of the investigation is to examine whether the expiry of the existing anti-dumping duty would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and consequent injury to the domestic industry in India.
• The DGTR will analyze factors such as import volumes, price effects, market conditions, and the performance of domestic producers. Interested parties, including exporters, importers, domestic producers, and other stakeholders, have been invited to submit relevant information, evidence, and comments within the prescribed timelines.
• Based on the findings of the investigation, the government will decide whether the anti-dumping duty should be continued, modified, or revoked to protect the domestic industry from unfairly priced imports.
