Commercial ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 06, 2026, notified regarding the launch of Credit Assistance for E-Commerce Exporters under Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – NIRYAT PROTSAHAN.

The following has been stated:

• The initiative aims to improve access to working capital for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in international trade through e-commerce platforms. Under the scheme, banks will provide credit facilities such as cash credit, overdraft, or other working capital loans to eligible exporters, supported by a credit guarantee cover and interest subvention within prescribed limits. 

• The program will initially be implemented on a pilot basis through the Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) to facilitate feedback, institutional learning, and data-driven improvements. 

• Detailed policy framework, operational guidelines, governance structure, and pilot implementation guidelines have been provided in the annexures, and stakeholders are invited to submit feedback in accordance with the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) provisions.
