The Government of Himachal Pradesh, on March 03, 2026, notified the Grant of Trade License for Use of Premises and Storage of Articles in a Premises ByeLaws, 2025, Mandi Municipal Corporation.
The following has been stated: -
•Municipal Corporation Mandi has notified Trade License Bye-Laws, 2025 for regulating the use of premises and storage of specified articles within municipal limits.
•Businesses must obtain a trade license before operating or storing listed items, with licenses issued for up to five years (April–March cycle) and renewable on payment of the prescribed fee.
•License fees vary by business size (small, medium, large) and specific conditions apply for transfer, renewal, inspection, and compliance.
•Violations, false declarations, or repeated breaches may lead to penalties, suspension, or cancellation of the trade license under the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994.
These Bye Laws shall come into force from March 06, 2026.
