The Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab, on March 08, 2026, issued the Detailed Schemes & Operational Guidelines, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The policy aims to promote Punjab as a competitive destination for industrial investment through transparent and hassle-free implementation.
•Eligible new and expanding units that applied under IBDP 2022 but have not received post-production incentives can migrate through Form-MU within 90 days of notification.
•Industrial units are classified into MSME, Large, and Mega units based on investment and employment criteria under the MSMED Act, 2006.
•Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) includes land, buildings, plant and machinery, and equipment, with specified limits and exclusions for certain costs.
•Investment made within defined timelines after commercial production is considered for incentives, with revised annual ceilings based on verified FCI.
