The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) on March 09, 2026, issued a notification regarding Digital Adoption among MSMEs.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government periodically evaluates digital adoption among MSMEs, including use of e-commerce, digital accounting, supply chain digitization, and participation on platforms like Government e-Marketplace and Open Network for Digital Commerce under the TEAM scheme.
•The NITI Aayog Output-Outcome Monitoring Framework also assesses the impact of such initiatives.
•As of December 31, 2025, about 2.06 lakh merchants transacted on ONDC, nearly 6 lakh service providers were onboarded, and 3,127 MSMEs generated over 1 lakh transactions through the MSME TEAM Scheme.
