The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 06, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Methods of Sampling and Test for Oils and Fats.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be February 27, 2026 -

• IS 548 (Part 3/Sec 11) : 2026 ISO 18363-3 : 2024 Methods of Sampling and Test for Oils and Fats Part 3 Advanced Instrumental Methods Section 11 Determination of Fatty-Acid-Bound Chloropropanediols (MCPDs) and Glycidol by GC/MS — Method using Acid Transesterification and Measurement for 2-MCPD, 3- MCPD and Glycidol (First Revision).
• IS 633 : 2026 DDT Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) — Specification (Third Revision).
