The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on March 06, 2026, issued the date of the establishment and the date of withdrawal of Indian standards particulars related to various ENT Surgery Instruments.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of establishment shall be February 27, 2026:-
• IS 5763: 2026 - Dental Occlusal Plane Guide — Specification (First Revision).
• IS 8735: 2026 - ENT Surgery Instruments — Yankauer’s Type Pattern Suction Tube — Specification (First Revision).
• IS 12360: 2026 - Voltage Bands for Electrical Installations Including Preferred Voltage and Frequency (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the date of withdrawal shall be August 27, 2026: -
• IS 5763 – 1970 - Specification for Occlusal Plane Guide, Dental.
• IS 8735 – 1978 - Specification for Tube, Suction, Yankauer’s Pattern.
• IS 12360 – 1988 - Voltage Bands for Electrical Installations Including Preferred Voltages and Frequency.
