The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on March 06, 2026, issued the date of the establishment and the date of withdrawal of Indian standards particulars related to various method of Sealability Test.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of establishment shall be February 27, 2026:-
• IS 7714: 2026 - Method of Sealability Test for Gasket Materials (First Revision).
• IS 11647: 2026 - Braille Paper — Specification (First Revision).
• IS 12986 (Part 1): 2026 - Biogas Plants — Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester Resin Gas Holders — Specification Part 1 With Steel Frame (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the date of withdrawal shall be August 27, 2026: -
• IS 7714 – 1975 - Method of Sealability Test for Gasket Materials.
• IS 11647 – 1986 - Specification for Bra-Ille Paper.
• IS 12986 (Part 1): 1990 - Biogas Plants — Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester Resin Gas Holders — Specification Part 1 With Steel Frame.
