Industry Specific Compliance The Health Department, West Bengal on February 24, 2026, issued the notification regarding the proper utilization of slow moving and near expiry Drug/ Equipment/OHC.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Due to a sudden drop in consumption of certain Drug/Equipment items in the OHC, there is a risk that the listed items may expire before being used.

• Concerned authorities are requested to take necessary steps to utilize the remaining stock before the expiry date to avoid wastage of government resources.
