Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Rajasthan, on March 05, 2026, issued the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2026, to further amend the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In section 19, which states, “Qualification for election as a Panch or a member”, the existing clause (l) shall be deleted.

• In section 19, the existing clause (iv) of proviso shall be deleted.

• In section 19, the existing Explanation-I shall be deleted.
