The National Medical Commission (NMC), on March 09, 2026, issued a Compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India Order dated January 15, 2026, in Criminal Appeal No. 1425/2025 in the matter of Amit Kumar & Ors. vs. Union of India & Ors.
The following has been stated namely:-
• For medical colleges and institutions regulated by the National Medical Commission, authorities must implement the directions urgently and within specified timelines.
• All such institutions must submit a Monthly Action Taken Report (ATR) regarding compliance to the National Medical Commission via [email protected].
• The mandatory advisories issued for strict compliance by all medical colleges under NMC are provided in Annexure A, based on the NTF recommendations and Supreme Court directions.
