Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on March 10, 2026, issued a circular regarding the IP Address details of Live Environment.

The Exchange has issued a notification to its members in accordance with the Rules, Bye-Laws, and Business Rules, and in continuation of circular no. MCX/TECH/500/2024 dated July 26, 2024. Members are advised to ensure that the IP addresses of both the Primary Data Center (PDC) and the Disaster Recovery Site (DRS) are enabled in their systems.

This step is necessary to ensure seamless connectivity in the event that live trading is initiated from the Disaster Recovery Site (DRS) without prior announcement. By enabling these IP addresses, member-end systems will automatically connect to the trading platform without requiring any manual intervention.

The circular also provides detailed IP address information for the Exchange’s trading interfaces through annexures, including details for the Primary Data Center (PDC), the Disaster Recovery Site (DRS), and the addition of routing configurations required at the member-end systems. Members are requested to take note of the instructions and implement the necessary changes to ensure uninterrupted trading connectivity.
