Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Rajasthan on March 05, 2026, issued the Rajasthan Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 2026, further to amend the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009.

The following has been amended:

• In sub-clause (a) of clause (xix) of section 2, the existing word and punctuation mark “leprosy,” shall be deleted.

• In section 24: -

o the existing clause (xvii) shall be deleted;

o the existing clause (e) of the proviso shall be deleted; and

o the existing Explanation shall be deleted.
