The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 09, 2026, notified regarding the Applicability of event-based additional surveillance margin (E-ASM) till April 01, 2026.
It states that, based on the High-Low price variation formula [(High–Low)/Low × 100], an Enhanced Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% has been re-triggered for Coriander and Turmeric. The margin will apply to all existing and upcoming contracts of these commodities from March 09, 2026, until April 01, 2026.
Other commodities such as Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, and Jeera are not subject to E-ASM, and all other applicable margins will continue unchanged.
