The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on March 10, 2026, issued a circular regarding online applications for grant of license in Form 28-D/28-DA for r-DNA products.
The circular states that, in order to streamline the regulatory submission procedure, applications for grant of licenses for r-DNA products in Form 28-D/28-DA must now be submitted through the Online National Drugs Licensing System (ONDLS) portal. Applicants are required to submit their applications online along with the required documents as specified in the checklist available in the module.
Further, the authority clarified that the facility for offline submission of applications in hard copy has been discontinued with effect from March 10, 2026. All stakeholders seeking licenses for r-DNA products must therefore use the online portal for submission and processing of applications.
