The Government of Kerala on February 28, 2026, issued a notification to amend notification no. G. O. (P) No. 58/2008/TD, dated March 19, 2008 and published as S.R.O. No. 291/2008 in the Kerala Gazette No. 558 dated March 19, 2008 under the Kerala Abkari Shops Disposal Rules, 2002.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the schedule to the said notification, in "II. INDEX", under the heading "TODDY SHOPS", under the sub-heading "Thiruvananthapuram Division-112", against serial numbers 10 and 11, for the figures "10" and "15" in column (3), the figures "11" and "14" shall respectively be substituted;
• In the Appendix, under the heading "1. Thiruvananthapuram Division", -
(1) under the sub-heading "Chirayinkeezhu Taluk-Chirayinkeezhu Range-๑๑๕”, after shop number 10 in column (1), the following entries shall respectively be inserted in column (1), (2), (3) and (4), namely:-
"11 Keezhattingal"
Surrender
North-Keezhattingal village boundary.
East--Keezhattingal village boundary.
South-Keezhattingal village boundary.
West--Keezhattingal village boundary.",
(2) under the sub-heading "Varkala Taluk Varkala Range- Tolly", shop number 10 in column (1) and the entries against it in columns (2), (3) and (4) shall be omitted.
