The Municipal Corporation Baddi, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh on March 10, 2026, issued the Draft Municipal Corporation Baddi - Grant of Trade License for Use of Premises and Storage of Articles in Premises ByeLaws, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The draft byelaws aim to regulate commercial activities within the municipal limits of Baddi. The bye-laws mandate that no person or business operator can start or carry on any trade, business, or storage activity in any premises without obtaining a valid trade license from the Municipal Corporation.
• They define key authorities such as the Commissioner, authorised officers, and inspectors responsible for granting licenses, inspection, and enforcement. The provisions also regulate the use of premises and storage of specified goods listed in the schedules, ensuring compliance with municipal safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Suggestions and objections, if any, may be submitted in the Office of Municipal Corporation, Baddi, by April 09, 2026.
