The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Odisha, on February 09, 2026, issued a notification regarding DMLT Students’ Registration Till 2025–26.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government has allowed registration and renewal for students who completed the three-year Vocational DMLT course at Orissa Institute of Engineering & Technology up to the 2025–26 batch, but the course will not be permitted for new batches after that session.
•From Academic Session 2026–27, administrative control of the course will shift from the Skill Development & Technical Education Department to the Health & Family Welfare Department.
•The course will also be governed by the provisions of the National Commission for Allied Health Professions Act, 2021, and related rules.
•The decision has been made to ensure clarity in NOC issuance and student registration procedures.
