Secretarial ComplianceThe Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on March 10, 2026, issued a corrigendum to its earlier notification dated January 20, 2026 relating to amendments in the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

The corrigendum clarifies the enabling provision under which the amendment regulations were issued. It specifies that the amendments were made in exercise of the powers conferred under section 11, sub-section (2) of section 11A and section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, read with section 31 of the Securities Contracts Regulation Act, 1956.

Further, corrections have been made to Regulation 39(2) and certain clause numbering in the earlier notification. The revised provision requires listed entities to credit securities in dematerialised form within thirty days of receiving investor service requests relating to subdivision, split, consolidation, renewal, exchange, or issuance of duplicate securities, along with necessary documents.
