EHS ComplianceThe Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) on March 25, 2026, notified regarding the Disposal of application for Grant of Authorisation, CTE & CTO.

The Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) has adopted the Standard Operating Procedure prepared by the Central Pollution Control Board (February 2026) to ensure expeditious disposal of applications for Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), and Authorization. The maximum disposal timelines are: 60/45/30 days for CTE, and 90/60/30 days for first-time CTO and renewal/expansion/amendment, for Red, Orange, and Green category industries respectively.

For environmental surveillance, mandatory inspection frequencies have also been prescribed — every 3 months for Highly Polluting (17 category) industries and CBWTFs/CETPs/STPs, every 6 months for other Red category industries, annually for Orange category, and once in 2 years for Green category industries.
