Industry Specific ComplianceThe India International Depository IFSC Limited (IIDI) on April 17, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Fee Structure for Depository Participants for Bullion operations.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The circular clarifies the fee structure for bullion operations applicable to all Depository Participants (DPs).

• The prescribed fee structure will be uniformly applicable to all IIDI-registered DPs. 

• Most categories (Clearing Members, Trading Members, Banks, SCC, Special Clients, Qualified Jewellers) are charged USD 200/month, while Qualified Suppliers pay USD 500/month. 

• Special Rates for India-UAE TRQ Holders 

o Standard TRQ Holders: USD 100/month 

o Small Enterprises (≤25 kg quota): USD 50/month 

o Micro Enterprises (≤10 kg quota): USD 50/month 

• Application processing fees are levied in the month following account opening. 

• Gold Transaction Charges 

o BDR Creation & Extinguishment: USD 5 per 1 kg bar / USD 0.50 per 100 gm bar 

o Documentation (UAE CEPA eligible): USD 2 per kg 

• Silver Transaction Charges 

o BDR Creation & Extinguishment: USD 0.25 per kg 

o Documentation (UAE CEPA eligible): USD 0.50 per kg 

• Vaulting Charges (Daily Rates, Billed Monthly)

o Gold: USD 0.35 per kg per day 

o Silver: USD 0.020 per kg per day 

• The Billing cycle is monthly 

• DPs are not allowed to levy any additional vaulting charges beyond the prescribed rates 

This is applicable from April 17, 2026.
