The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on April 17, 2026, issued the Draft Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Market) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026, to further amend the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Market) Regulations, 2021.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued the Draft Power Market (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026 under the Electricity Act, 2003, and published it on its website.
• Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit comments/suggestions/objections via email, post, or the SAUDAMINI portal by May 16, 2026.
