The India International Clearing Corporation (IFSC) Limited (ICC) on April 23, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Submission of Half Yearly Net worth Certificate as on March 31, 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Members must submit the net worth certificate and computation as of March 31, 2026 by May 31, 2026 in the prescribed format.
• As per International Financial Services Centres Authority regulations, minimum net worth requirements are specified for different clearing member categories.
• Minimum net worth: USD 6,75,000 for BD-SCM, and USD 13,50,000 for BD-CM and PCM.
• “Net worth” is defined as the aggregate value of liquid assets, including cash, bank balances, fixed deposits, and government securities.
• Entities must maintain the required net worth at all times as per regulatory requirements.
• Members should refer to the December 30, 2025 circular for proper computation of liquid net worth.
• Base capital, interest-free deposits, and trading margins can be included in liquid net worth.
• Liabilities are excluded when calculating net worth under these regulations.
• Required submissions include Net Worth Certificate (Annexure 1) and Net Worth Computation (Annexure 2), along with a declaration signed by authorized officers.
• Special provisions apply for branch entities, allowing net worth to be maintained at the parent level (ring-fenced), and non-compliance actions are outlined in Annexure 3.
