The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on April 30, 2026, issued the Master Circular for Currency Derivatives Segment.
The following has been stated:
• The circular primarily standardizes file formats, data structures, and reporting mechanisms used by trading members. It covers various end-of-day (EOD) files such as contract files, spread contract files, standardized contract masters, trade files (UDiFF format), bhav copy, market summary, turnover, transaction charges, order logs, RBI reference rates, and participant master files.
• Detailed specifications are provided for each file, including field definitions, data types, naming conventions, and formats, ensuring uniform data reporting and system compatibility across members.
• It also outlines trade reporting formats, online trade file structures, and download paths, along with guidelines for handling split files and timestamps.
