The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 30, 2026, issued a circular regarding File formats for the Electronic Gold Receipt Segment- NSE Clearing.
The following has been stated: -
•NSE Clearing, with SEBI approval, has introduced file formats for the Electronic Gold Receipt (EGR) segment following recent circulars on its launch and membership.
•It outlines formats (Annexure I & II) that members must adopt for system development at their end.
•The circular supports clearing, settlement, risk, and collateral management processes for EGR trades.
•A separate detailed circular on procedures for these processes will be issued soon.
