The National Medical Commission (NMC) on April 23, 2026, issued a notification regarding Compliance instructions for NEET (UG) 2026 to the Medical Colleges.
The following has been stated:-
•The Department of Higher Education has issued instructions to ensure the sanctity and integrity of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination scheduled for May 03, 2026.
•Medical colleges are directed to strictly comply and remain vigilant against any malpractice.
•Students must be sensitized to avoid involvement in activities that could compromise the exam process.
•As a preventive measure, colleges are advised not to grant leave on May 02 and 03, 2026, except in exceptional cases.
