The Government of Haryana on April 24, 2026, notified the Reimbursement on Rental Charge Scheme Guidelines for Incubators under Haryana State Startup Policy 2022.
The Government of Haryana has introduced the “Reimbursement on Rental Charge Scheme Guidelines” to support incubators registered under the Haryana State Startup Policy 2022. The scheme aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem by reducing the financial burden on incubators through partial reimbursement of lease rental expenses, thereby encouraging the establishment and expansion of incubation infrastructure in the state.
Under the scheme, eligible incubators are entitled to 50% reimbursement of lease rent paid for operating from premises owned by Central/State Government bodies or institutions in Haryana. This support is available for a maximum period of 3 years, capped at ₹5 lakh per financial year per incubator. The scheme is effective from the date of notification and will remain operational until July 6, 2027, unless modified or discontinued earlier.
To qualify, incubators must be registered with Startup Haryana, be operational during the claim period, and comply with statutory requirements such as NOC/CLU approvals. They must not avail similar benefits under other government schemes, and rental payments must be made through official banking channels under a valid lease agreement. Applications are submitted online and processed by the Industries & Commerce Department, with strict timelines for submission and deficiency rectification.
The scheme ensures transparency and accountability through defined procedures, timelines, and audit provisions. Any misuse, false claims, or fraudulent activity can result in penalties, including refund of the assistance with interest and legal action. Overall, the scheme promotes a supportive environment for incubators, contributing to a robust and sustainable startup ecosystem in Haryana.
