The Government of Haryana on April 24, 2026, notified the Assistance for Participating or Organizing Fair/ Exhibition Scheme Guidelines under Haryana State Startup Policy 2022.
The Government of Haryana has introduced the “Assistance for Participating or Organizing Fair/ Exhibition” scheme under the Haryana State Startup Policy 2022 to promote startups by enabling their participation in national and international events. The scheme aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem by supporting incubators, government departments, and industry associations in organizing or leading delegations to fairs, exhibitions, and seminars, thereby enhancing market access, visibility, and networking opportunities.
Under the scheme, government entities (including government incubators and departments) are eligible for 100% financial assistance on an actual basis, subject to a maximum of ₹50 lakh per event. Private incubators and industry associations can avail 50% reimbursement of actual costs, also capped at ₹50 lakh per event. A maximum of 12 events per financial year will be supported. The scheme covers only physical or hybrid events, and assistance is provided post completion of the event, based on prior in-principle approval.
Eligible applicants include registered incubators under Startup Haryana, government bodies, and recognized industry associations with at least 5 years of existence and prior experience in organizing similar events. The scheme covers a wide range of expenses such as travel, accommodation, marketing, infrastructure, logistics, and event management. Startups selected for participation must be beyond the ideation stage and chosen through a transparent, merit-based process, with preference given to high-quality products.
Applicants must apply online at least 90 days prior to the event for in-principle approval and submit reimbursement claims within 3 months after completion. Proposals are evaluated by an Evaluation & Approval Committee, which determines the extent of assistance. The scheme also includes provisions for branding, documentation, audit, and strict compliance requirements.
The scheme is effective from the date of notification and will remain operational until July 6, 2027. It includes provisions for delay condonation, grievance redressal, and penalties in case of misuse, including refund of assistance with interest and legal action. Overall, the scheme facilitates greater exposure and growth opportunities for startups by promoting participation in key national and international platforms.
