The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on April 30, 2026, issued a consolidated circular on the Simulated Environment, compiling all relevant circulars issued between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026, and superseding the earlier consolidation dated April 28, 2025.
The circular provides a unified framework for simulated trading across Capital Market (CM), Futures & Options (F&O), Currency Derivatives (CD), and Commodity Derivatives (CO) segments. It specifies session timings, including order entry, matching, buffer periods, and normal market hours (generally from 16:00 to 22:00 hours), along with operational cut-off timings for collateral setup and trade modifications.
Members opting to participate must comply with all applicable instructions, annexures, and operational guidelines, failing which disciplinary action may be initiated. The circular also clarifies that any actions taken or rights accrued under previous guidelines remain valid, ensuring continuity despite consolidation.
