The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on April 30, 2026, issued addition of Silica Healthcare in NPPA Ceiling Price Order for I.V. Fluids.
The notification amends National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority Order No. 1583(E) dated March 25, 2026, concerning ceiling prices for scheduled formulation packs of I.V. fluids (non-glass with special features). The amendment introduces a new entry in Table ‘B’.
A new Sl. No. 38 has been added, including M/s Silica Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. with its product/brand “Euro Head / Euro Head Dual Port.” This inclusion brings the company under the scope of the existing ceiling price framework for specified I.V. fluid formulations.
Additionally, a new clause (g1) has been inserted. It clarifies that for M/s Silica Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., only the prices of formulations listed at Sl. Nos. 2, 4, 5, and 7 are applicable under the order. This limits the applicability of ceiling prices specifically to those formulations for the said manufacturer.
Overall, the amendment ensures precise inclusion of the manufacturer and restricts price applicability to selected formulations, refining the earlier pricing order.
