The Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) on May 01, 2026, notified regarding the timeline for accepting applications for obtaining fresh/renewal recognition as Schedule I & II of Environment Auditors.
The following has been stated:
• The Board has informed that the results of both the first (September 21, 2025) and second (April 11 and April 12, 2026) qualifying tests for Environment Auditors have been declared, with the latest results announced on April 30, 2026. As per its circular dated October 17, 2024, qualifying for this test is mandatory for all team members of existing auditors as well as new firms seeking recognition.
• Accordingly, GPCB has decided that applications for fresh recognition, renewal of recognition, and changes in team members (Schedule I and II auditors) shall be submitted on or before May 8, 2026, by 18:00 hours.
• Only those applications received within this deadline will be considered for the randomized allotment of industries for the Environment Audit year 2026–27.
