The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on April 28, 2026, issued the Intimation regarding Drug Testing Samples for April 2026 to PMBI-approved labs.
The following has been stated:
• During April 2026, samples of various drugs from ESIC Hospital Angul were sent to PMBI-approved testing laboratories for quality analysis. The sampled medicines included Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg with Paracetamol 325 mg tablets (Batch HDGT203, manufactured by Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd.), Doxycycline 100 mg capsules (Batch 16200326, manufactured by Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Ltd.), Clopidogrel 75 mg with Aspirin 75 mg tablets (Batch 2X83N017 S1, manufactured by Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.), and Tranexamic Acid 500 mg with Mefenamic Acid 250 mg tablets (Batch UGT2695A, manufactured by Ultra Drugs Pvt. Ltd.).
• All samples were drawn on April 28, 2026, and sent primarily to ITL Labs Pvt. Ltd. for testing. The drugs include both GEM-procured and rate contract (RC) items, and the test reports for all samples are currently awaited.
