The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on May 04, 2026, issued a notification regarding the downward rate revision of items under DGESIC RC-165 in r/o M/s. Bayer Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.
The following has been stated:-
•Amendment 09/2026 revises the rate of Aflibercept Injection (Eylea 40 mg/ml) under DGESIC RC-165 for M/s Bayer Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., reducing it slightly to Rs. 40,488.38 per vial effective from April 01, 2026.
•The amendment has been issued at the request of the firm, while all product specifications and standards remain unchanged as per the existing rate contract and applicable laws.
•DDOs are instructed to recover any excess payments made for supplies ordered on or after April 01, 2026, from subsequent bills.
•The responsibility for reconciliation and recovery lies solely with the respective competent authorities/DDOs.
