The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on May 06, 2026, notified regarding the Extension of the last date to receive comments on the TRAI's consultation paper on the Framework for Satellite Communication Network Authorisation and Assignment of Spectrum to Satellite Communication Network Providers.
The following has been stated:
• TRAI has extended the deadlines for its consultation paper (dated April 8, 2026) on the framework for satellite communication network authorisation and spectrum assignment.
• Originally, comments were due by May 6, 2026, and counter-comments by May 20, 2026. Based on requests from industry stakeholders, the deadlines have now been extended to May 13, 2026, for comments and May 27, 2026, for counter-comments.
• Submissions should be sent electronically to [email protected], and for queries, stakeholders can contact the Advisor (Networks, Spectrum & Licensing), TRAI.
