BSE Announces Mock Trading Session for Commodity Derivatives Segment

Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on May 7, 2026, issued Notice announcing a mock trading session for the Commodity Derivatives segment scheduled on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The session is being conducted to facilitate testing and familiarization of trading systems, including third-party and in-house trading applications connected through IML/ETI APIs.

The Exchange informed members that the mock session may be used to test various trading functionalities and exceptional market conditions such as risk-reduction mode and trading halts, in line with SEBI’s regulatory requirements on software testing and risk management systems. Members may participate either in the mock trading session or through the UAT environment for compliance with SEBI Circular dated November 24, 2020. BSE also stated that the new BOLT Pro TWS Version 13.00 will be released separately through another circular.

As per the schedule, login will be available from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by continuous trading from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The Exchange clarified that trades executed during the mock session will not result in any margin, pay-in/pay-out obligations, or legal rights and liabilities. Members have been encouraged to actively participate and provide feedback to BSE by 4:30 PM on the same day.
