Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), through the Directorate General of Training (DGT), on April 17, 2026, issued guidelines outlining the schedule and conduct of the 126th All India Trade Test (AITT) for Non-ITI/Fresher apprentices in designated trades. Apprentices who completed training on or before April 15, 2026 are eligible, subject to meeting prescribed criteria.

The notification provides a detailed activity timeline including marks upload (April 20–May 7, 2026), CBT registration and fee payment (April 20–May 9, 2026), hall ticket generation (May 19–21, 2026), and the CBT examination scheduled for June 2–3, 2026. Hall ticket eligibility requires at least 80% attendance, 60% marks in practical assessments, payment of exam fees, and completion of apprenticeship contract within the stipulated date.

The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode with separate patterns for engineering and non-engineering trades, covering Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, and Employability Skills. Apprentices must register and download hall tickets via the official apprenticeship portal, and adherence to the prescribed schedule is mandatory for all stakeholders.
