It states that in the principal Act —

• For the words “State of Punjab” wherever they occur, the words “Union Territory of Chandigarh” shall be substituted.

• For the words “State Government” wherever they occur, the words “Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh” shall be substituted.
