The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on May 07, 2026, notified regarding the Contingency Mock on May 09, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• NCDEX will conduct a contingency/mock trading session on Saturday, May 09, 2026, as part of its disaster recovery and system readiness exercise. The mock session will cover trading operations, NEXTRA, Web NCFE, Web Extranet, and NOSS. Pre-open trading will be held from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by trading in all other agri commodities from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and in Cotton, Kapas, Steel, and Sunoil from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with trade modification windows extending by 15 minutes after market close.
• A re-login session to the live environment will be conducted from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Production Web NCFE, Web Extranet, and NOSS Audit services will remain unavailable from 2:00 AM to 9:00 PM on the same day, while dedicated mock portals will be provided for testing. Members have been advised that client allocation, collateral segregation reporting, and limit file processing for production will not take place during the specified period.
• Members are also advised to restore their systems to the production environment after testing and actively verify connectivity before live trading resumes on Monday, 11 May 2026. Additionally, Tick-by-Tick (TBT) market data broadcast testing for the derivatives segment will also be available through separate PLS/P2P connectivity during the exercise.
