Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on May 06, 2026, issued an update to the Master Direction - Other Remittance Facilities.

It has omitted Para 2. The omitted provision had empowered Authorised Dealer–Category II (AD Category II) entities to release or remit foreign exchange for a wide range of non-trade current account transactions, including private visits, business travel, overseas education, medical treatment abroad, visa fees, emigration expenses, international event participation, examination fees, film shooting, crew wages, and remittances related to overseas employment and migration.
