The Government of Puducherry on April 28, 2026, issued notification of CPI Points for Dearness Allowance Calculation in Puducherry for 2026–27.
The Competent Authority under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 has notified the Consumer Price Index (CPI) points for industrial workers in the Union Territory of Puducherry for the purpose of calculating Dearness Allowance (DA). For the year 2026–27, the average CPI has been fixed at 471 (base year 2001 = 100).
This notified CPI will serve as the basis for determining the applicable Dearness Allowance for workers. The DA calculated using these CPI points shall be applicable to all employments covered under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 in Puducherry.
